「杜のしずく」

2021年10月23日から11月23日までの一ヶ月間、 宮城県秋保町にある日本庭園で
秋保ナイトミュージアム が行われ、３万人以上の来客がありました。
「杜のしずく」と題したこのサウンドデザインは、
付近で採取したフィールドレコーディングと楽器を用いて、
秋から冬に切り替わる日本の自然を表現しています。
獅子脅しから発せられたDの音を基音とし、
森林の音を取り入れながら日本古来の雅楽を意識しつつ、
時間軸の異なる１０種類のループ音を各地に点在させ、
どこかの時間にふと重なる音は日本の美意識、
「侘び寂び」を表現しています。
現代音楽の要素も融合させ、チルアウトな世界を作っています。

During the month of October 23 to November 23, 2021,
the “Akiu Night Museum” was held in a Japanese garden in Akiu-cho, Miyagi Prefecture.
More than 30,000 people visited the museum.
The sound design, titled “forest drop” uses field recordings and instruments collected
in the area to depict the natural transition from autumn to winter in Japan.
This piece is based on the D sound from the lion’s menace,
and incorporates the sounds of the forest,
while keeping in mind the ancient Japanese Gagaku.
Ten kinds of looped sounds with different time axes are scattered throughout the region.
The sounds that suddenly overlap at some point in time express the Japanese sense of beauty,
“wabi-sabi”. It also fuses elements of contemporary music to create a chill-out world.
